January 2015 - December 2020

OK.RU is a social network in the Russian speaking world, with more than 200 million registered and 20 million unique daily visitors. I developed integrated components for the desktop and mobile versions.

  • ADVERTISING MANAGER
    Given an open brief I developed an advertising management function with an interface in the user's feed and facilitating flexible, individual advertising campaigns. Other functions included monitoring statistics. This was produced in collaboration with a UX designer and backend developer, and was implemented had great take-up.
  • ONLINE SHOPPING MALL
    The major project was an interface for an e-commerce platform. This provided a catalogue of goods, filtered searches, a shopping cart, and an interface for processing orders with delivery and payment requirements. It remains in use.
  • PROMOTION & GAME PROJECTS
    I produced small applications to enable the purchase of OK.RU's online virtual gifts. Using the React framework I completed several games to engage the interest of users.
  • OTHER
    Built responsive email templates and promotional landing pages; also participated in front-end development of an internal messaging platform.
